After its work on amateur practices and its development of devices dedicated to criticism, the Institute for Research and Innovation will lead its next developments in the field of digital studies. This engagement in digital studies implies a work on knowledge organology, in particular the study and the development of digital academic technologies. Academic knowledge is published and subjected to criticism, therefore it depends on publication organs. Nowadays, the development of digitisation is reconfiguring the editing and the publication space of knowledge. In this era of industrialization of tertiary retention, every modality of publication (textual, audiovisual, digital) are modified. These modifications are mostly made in a toxic sense, wherein a lack of editorial policy is allowed to grow, and they call for new critiques.
